I wish to drive a mustang

So, I was watching Dustin Hoffman’s 1967 film ‘the graduate’ earlier today, when I saw Ben (Hoffman)’s new car, which was given to him by his parents for graduating college; an Alfa Romeo Spider series 1. It was a red colored compact convertible, with silver metallic stripes and rounded light bulbs…just felt so sporty and classic at the same time! I don’t know how but this suddenly started me thinking about the Ford mustang convertible…what a splendid car!

The hood angled just right to just slightly overshadow the headlights, set upon the charcoal black metallic carburetor gauze, adorned with a stainless steel mustang right in the middle standing out beautifully like a centerpiece diamond on a golden necklace, on the neck of a beautiful woman. I just couldn’t stop thinking about the mustang afterward,

I paused the movie, and went to the Ford website to customize and ogle at my dream vehicle. I chose a 2009 Mustang GT, and later customized it with a dark black exterior with marble side-skirts and mid-streak. I further customized it with a second tier sport appearance package, giving it a hot looking spoiler, which seemed so sharp that it literally re-defined the horizon on an open orange evening sky. I could just imagine, from a rear chase cam, the backside, with the spoiler and all, driving on the Golden Gate Bridge overlooking the majestic concrete jungle it was about to enter.

Then came the interior of the car, this I packaged with an electronics set, giving the car an onboard GPS navigation system complete with a five inch LCD monitor and a hi-fi sound system complete with an inbuilt flash hard-drive and the ability to play mp3s. The seating, which seemed so warm and soft as a freshly baked birthday cake, I completed with a saddle green color, the feeling was fulfilling, and my mind complemented it with images of the horse Black Beauty complete with a green saddle, just waiting for the rider to jump on and to a trip across the bridge to absolute solace.

Evening sky, on the brink of but no rain, shadowed with semi-dark clouds, with soft cool air gently caressing my face with a scent like fresh morning grass. I could just feel myself at the back of the steering wheel, drifting away. I was done customizing this breath-taking beast and my eyes fell upon the price tag!

I really couldn’t figure what was higher…Mt. Everest or the number maniacally laughing at my face with its bold dark letters grinning like the bloody fangs of a vampire. I guess its just a dream…but I really do hope that someday…someday I’ll be the proud owner of a mustang and just drive till I die.
